We offer a free taster session for everyone! This gives you the chance to try out our recreational sessions so you can see if cheer is for you.

What is Recreational Cheer?

Recreational cheer is our cheer for fun classes that runs weekly. Our recreational cheerleading curriculum is designed to fit the needs and aspirations of every child. It is available for ages 3+ with a focus on developing an extensive cheerleading skill set. These classes will allow your child to learn all elements of cheerleading including tumbling, stunting, jumping and dance in a fun and low pressure environment. There is no experience needed as we will be able to teach you everything you need to know!

Recreational cheer is the perfect stepping stone for our competition squads, to find out more info about these squads:

What should I/my child wear?

Normal sports clothing such as leggings/shorts and a vest/tshirt is perfect, mainly something you would feel comfortable moving around in. In the Winter the gym can be cold so please bring a jumper. If you decide you like cheer and want to join we have a pro shop where you can purchase all your TG merchandise. With regards to shoes we require everyone to wear cheer shoes, don't worry if you don't have these you can hire them for a small fee when you book your free taster. Please make sure jewellery is removed.

Can I stay and watch my child?

Yes we have a cafe upstairs that overlooks the gym you are welcome to stay and watch here. Please note only athletes, staff and coaches are allowed in the main gym. If you do not want to wait this is no problem all recreational classes will be walked out to the front door after their session so you can collect them there.

Can we bring snacks/drinks?

As we have a cafe available we do not allow any outside food and drinks in the gym except water. There is both hot and cold food options available as well as most drinks, please see our menu here. We take both card and cash so you can purchase something either before or after your session.

How do we join?

If you/your child enjoys their free taster session and would like to join we have two options for you. Pay as you go where you can go online and book every week or we can sign you up to a direct debit where you will not only save money but no longer have to book in. You can either sign up directly after the session at the front desk or send an email to and we will get you started. For more information of joining please visit our:
